The hospital of the future is happening now, where medical professionals instantly share and store x-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds and more. SWODIN will connect approximately 60 hospitals across southwestern Ontario so they can access diagnostic images anywhere, anytime.

Niagara Health System Connects

On September 14, 2009, 7 hospitals in the Niagara Health System connected to the DI-r. Hospitals include Douglas Memorial in Fort Erie, Greater Niagara General in Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake site, Ontario Street  and St. Catherines General sites in St. Catharines, Port Colborne and the Welland Hospital.
